Re:Think

Many things are accepted in society at face value.  We adhere to tenants and values often times because we are simply inundated with them to the point that we acquiesce without question.  As followers of Christ it is our obligation to question that which conflicts with what we know to be true.  In the same way, we believe that we have an obligation to examine that which is promoted, taught and accepted at face value within "American Christianity."

To a large degree the "church" in America has fallen out of favor with the general public.  We feel that it is our responsibility as Christ followers to be intellectually honest and to consider whether or not our own actions and teachings have contributed to this in any way.  Although Truth should never be compromised, it is important to ask the question "what is Truth?"

That which is based on the traditions of man is not always bad, however it should never be held onto with the same fervor as the clearly communicated Truth found in God's Word.  Now is the time to rethink that which we have accepted at face value and to weigh everything against God’s Word and the very character of Christ, the One which we follow.

Below you will find a series of messages that will help you understand how we have been wrestling with these things as a community.  We don’t claim to have all the answers but we do believe that God does.  It is for this reason that we are committed to Biblical truth above all else.  We invite you to join with us on this Journey.

Love looks like a person who sees a woman on the side of the road with her two children and feels a compulsion to stop, so they do. Love looks…
